Facilities and Capabilities

MGOS can cold store up to 25,000 metric Tons (27,550 tons) of fresh fruits. On a 5.5 Hectares (14 Acres), MGOS operates cold storage facilities A, B, C, and D. MGOS ancillary facilities include two warehouses for storage of dry goods and supplies. Cold storage A features a rack system that allows for easy storage of 10,000 metric tons (22,000 Tons) goods at temperatures at both below or above 0C (32F). Facilities D and C are designed for cold storage of goods under controlled atmosphere (CA) conditions and for a combined capacity of 20,000 metric tons (22,050 tons). Facility D is designed for processing bananas for the domestic market and has a capacity of 5,000 metric Tons (55,00 tons). Warehouses buildings provide a covered area of 3000 m2 for storage of dry goods and supplies.
MGOS is equipped with 22 loading docks and uses 15 lift trucks to meet the turn around times requirements and expectations of it valued clients.
MGOS can measure the weight of trailers and trucks that are up to 60 metric tons (135,000 lb) in combined weight.
MGOS can store fresh fruits under Controlled Atmosphere in order to increase the quality and shelf life of stored fresh fruits beyond limits otherwise possible.
Amongst other capabilities of MGOS, one can mention its close proximity to the main distribution centers for both Tehran and Alborz Provinces. MGOS is strategically located on the main road that is used for transporting food stuff to major points of distribution within the nearby provinces.
